This work is an 8” x 10” double exposure artwork. It was created by Tatyana Hill. The title is, “Rose Caught in Headlights”. The artwork was created in Media Arts 2 Class in May, 2016. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 to create this piece, and my self-portrait photograph was taken with a Sony Nex-5 camera. In this portrait I used many techniques such as level adjustments, masks, and filters. I used photos that I found from Google Images, Textures.com and Photos for Class. The images used are below. In this portrait I used darker colors. My first picture I applied to face was the cars with their headlights on and I used the blending mode to blend it naturally with my face. The second picture I used was the flowers using the blending mode as well. And then topping it off with the wrinkled paper using the mask, which gave me the highlight and luminous halo effect. These images portray my story from when I almost lost my life in a tragic go-cart accident. This picture show how I really felt and looked present in that moment. I was scared to die and looking for whats next. I was a "Rose Caught in Headlights". It was a sunny day; a fun day. My cousins Jordan, Amaya and I were hanging out since I was under my aunt's watch for today. She had came down from Virginia. So my aunt went to my great aunt Betty's house, while I played with my cousins. When we to Jordan house, Jordan wanted to ride his go-cart. So Amaya and I watched him ride up and down our road a couple times and then I asked him could I drive. He said yes. I rode like two laps down my road and when I came back Amaya wanted to ride with me. When she got in the go-cart we drove down my road passing my older cousins who was on a golf-cart, which included Jordan's mom, aunt, uncle and our cousin (Aunt Betty's daughter). As we approached the top of my road, the go-cart went crazy and I couldn't brake. So now I'm on the highway, cars dodging me, Amaya is crying and I am scared for my life looking for what to do. As I look, to my right I see the gate to the flower shop, so I pulled into the there and the gate and go-cart made a collision causing us to jerk. When I got out the car hysterically crying and shaking, my cousin was checking out the cart and eventually found out that it wasn't my fault. Jordan's mom was yelling at telling me " You are never driving this again!!" making me feel worse but my cousin Andra was comforting me telling me it wasn't my fault. We went in Aunt Betty's house and told her and my aunt what happened and my aunt said " If something was to happen to you, I'se mise well laid down in the middle of the road and let someone run over me because your mom would never forgive me for that."

My favorite Element of Art game is by Duneshia Floyd. I love her game because its very difficult and challenging to accomplish. I like the difference in the levels of the game, like some games were timed, some were not and some had harder obstacles than others. The timed ones were VERY challenging for me to pass, but when I did pass I felt like a beast lol. I give this game a rate of 8, it was very fun to play . I recommend this for anyone to play but be aware and stay calm, lol.
